FADE IN
EXT. FLOOR/WALL – DAY
Reverse shot - A mask is on the floor, it is then picked up by someone and then dissolves.
TITLE CARD - VANDAL
EXT. ROAD OUTSIDE COLLEGE – DAY
Alfie walks across the road to college, and into the building ready for his lesson.
INT. BATHROOM – DAY
Alfie walks into a bathroom and goes straight into the cubicle, upon leaving the mask appears in the stall and as he approaches the sink, Alfie flashes back.
Alfie stands in front of mirror looking anxious, he washes his face, bending down and splashes his face by the sink. As Alfie leans back up a man in a mask is reflecting in the mirror, yet Alfie oblivious to this.
Alfie finishes getting ready and walks out of the bathroom.
INT. COLLEGE CLASSROOM – DAY
Alfie is sitting at a computer with his headphones in, resting his head on one of his arms due to tiredness and how he feels unwell. He plays a song on his phone and begins typing on his computer when the mask appears on his screen as the lights flicker on and off. Alfie looks around in a state of confusion and backs away from his computer. As Alfie looks back to his computer, the mask appears while the classroom is in darkness. Alfie moves away from the computer and fumbles out of the room.
INT. STAIRWELL AND COLLEGE RECEPTION (CONTINUOUS)
Alfie runs down the stairs to escape the horror and out of reception. Once outside he frantically looks around for any danger.
EXT. ROAD OUTSIDE COLLEGE – DAY
Alfie runs down the street, as far away from college he can get. He decides to run to the train station to get away from the mask.
EXT. TRAIN STATION – DAY
As he arrives at the station, he just misses the train and so after running over to the platform, Alfie then runs back up the stairs. As Alfie turns right up the stairs, he suddenly appears in a back alley, and then reappears on a bridge before he taps his feet and reappears in a back alley.
EXT. BACK ALLEY – DAY
Alfie looks around thinking he’s alone however he turns and notices a figure is standing in the shadows opposite him. The figure begins to walk towards Alfie but then vanishes. He reappears behind Alfie, startling him, and even swings to attack him, this causes Alfie to stumble backwards onto the floor. As the mask approaches Alfie on the floor, Alfie vanishes into thin air and the Mask takes off his jacket and mask to reveal Alfie underneath. He drops the mask and walks off.
ZOOM INTO EYE OF THE MASK AND FADE INTO CLASSROOM
INT. CLASSROOM
Alfie jolts awake after his friend comes over and places his bag down next to him. Alfie notices something in his friend’s bag quite alarming. He stares at his friend’s bag and a mask is poking out so Alfie pulls it out to inspect it. Alfie turns around to face his computer again and sees a news headline flash up
“BOY KILLED BY MYSTERIOUS MASKED FIGURE IN ALLEY ATTACK”
Alfie takes a closer look and the date of the article, it is dated one week from now, and the name of the victim. Alfie Harvey. As Alfie looks around panicking, a figure appears standing behind him for a split second.
